Kia Sorento (XM, 2011-2015) Service Manual / Engine Mechanical System / Timing System / Crankshaft Damper Pulley Removal and Installation

1.
Remove the drive belt.
(Refer to Timing System - "Drive Belt")
2.
Remove the passenger engine room side cover.
(Refer to Engine And Transaxle Assembly - "Engine Room Under Cover")
3.
Remove the passenger front tire.
4.
Remove the crankshaft damper pulley(A).
Tightening torque :
166.6 ~ 176.4 N.m (17.0 ~ 18.0 kgf.m, 122.9 ~ 130.1 lb-ft)

  
There are two methods to hold the ring gear when installing or removing the crankshaft damper pulley.
