Kia Sorento (XM, 2011-2015) Service Manual / Engine Mechanical System / Cooling System / Water Temperature Control Assembly Removal

Disconnect the battery negative terminal.

Loosen the drain plug and drain the engine coolant.
|
| 3. |
Remove the radiator upper hose and lower hose.
(Refer to Cooling System - "Radiator")
|
| 4. |
Disconnect the connectors and then remove the wiring protector (A).
|
| 5. |
Disconnect the E.T.C cooler hose (A) and the remove the water temperature
control assembly(A).
|
| 6. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. O-ring
2. Water temperature control assembly
3. Water inlet fitting
4. Engine coolant temperature sensor
5. Thermostat
6. Thermostat gasket
